I am Davide Ferretti, currently a software engineer at Leonardo — before that, I was an equity investments analyst at Lingotto Capital.
Before dabbling in software development, I earned a B.Sc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and subsequently a M.Sc. in Optimization and Control Systems at Imperial College London.
Outside of my studies, I like to explore new technologies trying to build out useful stuff or contributing to open-source — e.g. I was in the Google Summer of Code cohort of 2024 under the mentorship of Julian Samaroo, RSE at MIT’s JuliaLab, whom I helped by contributing to HPC library Dagger.jl.
